Our family is getting so excited and there is a definite buzz in the air....the Olympic Games are just 24 days away now!We so look forward to gathering in the evening with some of our favorite snacks or a simple dessert to watch the recaps of the day and the events that Canadian athletes are participating in...cheering them on of course! One of our favorite simple desserts is this easy & healthy fruit dip...which is also a great at any time too! I love it because it takes mere minutes to make and then I can join my family in the living room to we can cheer away!
Our family loves watching the men's and women's hockey teams, figure skating events and skiing. During the last Olympic Games in 2010, which took place in our neighbouring province of British Columbia, we had fun attending the Olympic parade right in our hometown, and even though it was cold, we wouldn't have missed such a fun day!
And I even organized an Olympic-themed teachers' appreciation luncheon at my kids' elementary school. We also hosted a little mini-Olympics event for teachers and students to participate in!
Now let's get back to this easy & healthy Fruit Dip, which is made with one of our favourite yogurt's...Yoplait. Yoplait is a proud sponsor of Team Canada! Yay! It is so important to support our athletes as they work so hard for the honour of representing our country!
Easy & Healthy Fruit Dip
1-1/2 cups Yoplait vanilla Greek yogurt {any flavour Yoplain Greek yogurt can be used! They are thick and delicious and perfect for dipping!}
2-3 tablespoons honey
Optional-Stir in some or all of these:
1/2 cup shredded coconut,
1/2 chopped walnuts
1/2 cup finely diced pineapple
Directions:
1. In small bowl, mix together Yoplait Greek yogurt with honey and optional mix ins. Serve with sliced fruit. Refrigerate any leftover dip and fruit.

How do you show your Canadian pride?
