Christmas Flower Cookies & Cookie Kit Giveaway From Canadian Tire

I love pretty cookies at Christmas! In my kitchen this week,  I had some fun making these darling cookies with some new items from the Cake Boss line from Canadian Tire and which was so generously sent to me by Canadian Tire for my Christmas baking projects.  These cookies may look a little bit complicated, but they are very easy to make using the Flower Cookie Pan from the Cake Boss line.
These cookies are so cute to add to any cookie plate during the holiday season. And a simple sugar cookie or spritz cookie recipe will work for this baking project.  I used my favorite sugar cookie recipe and then added a little frosting, red sprinkles and cherries as the finishing touch.
The Cake Boss Flower Cookie Pan made this project a breeze by providing the shapes for the flowers .
I just love this pan and I wish I had something like this when my daughter was younger so I could use it for things like birthday parties and special days.
I think it`s a wonderful addition to my baking equipment and I know I will use it often!
It makes 12 cookies at time and features a non-stick coating for easy release and clean up.
Here`s how I made them:
Groovy Christmas Flower Cookies
{makes 2-2 1/2 dozen cookies}

Ingredients:
1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
4 tbsp milk
2 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 cups flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In mixing bowl, combine butter and sugar. Beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time. Then add milk and vanilla.
2. In another bowl, stir together flour, baking powder and salt.
3.Add flour mixture to butter mixture gradually. Beat until mixed to form soft dough.
4. Using teaspoon, fill each cookie well with dough and gently flatten with fingers.
5. Bake  in 325 oven for 8-10 minutes or until cookie edges are slightly brown. Let cool in groovy cookie sheet for a few minutes.Then pop out and  transfer to cooling rack. {I used an edge of a knife to pop each cookie out.}
These adorable cookies are perfect for decorating with frosting and sprinkles.
I piped some white icing on each cookie, placed half a cherry in the center and sprinkled with red sugar.

Then I added these pretty cookies to the rest of my Christmas cookie collection on this beautiful Cake Boss 2 Tier Cake Server.
And I can store other cookies in this too cute Cake Boss Blue & White Ribbon Jar.
The Cake Boss line at Canadian Tire is a beautiful, high quality collection including pans, bowls, spatulas, whisks and more...all affordably  priced  and perfect for any level of baking skill.You might be familiar with the popular TLC reality show `Cake Boss` where a family-owned bakery in Jersey shares their many baking talents with the beautiful cakes they create.
